Donna McCormack

Group Finance Director

Donna joined HCP in November 2007 as Group Finance Director following a successful career in both Private Equity and FTSE 100 environments. Donna is a board member for both the UK and Canadian group companies.

Donna trained as a Chartered Management Accountant with Diageo Plc (formerly Grand Metropolitan Plc) and held a number of senior finance positions across its’ Foods portfolio. She was actively involved in managing the group’s Merger and Acquisition programme and its’ divestment from the Food sector in the 1990’s. In 1992, Donna was part of the lead management group that led a £92m Management buy-out of Express Foods, a £350m turnover food manufacturing and distribution company. The buyout was financed with a combination of Private Equity funds and leveraged debt. In 1997, Donna was instrumental in negotiating the successful sale of this business to a leading FTSE 100 company. Following this success she was approached by a Private Equity firm to join, as Deputy Group Finance Director, a Buy-In Management Buy-Out (BIMBO) team to support the Private Equity funded acquisition of the UK’s largest retail media supplier, Bezier Limited. In 2000, she was appointed Finance Director. Having successfully led the Bezier group through a secondary buyout, she left in 2006 and thereafter joined HCP.
