Paul Mas

Technical Services and Regional Director

Paul Mas has extensive experience of planning, bidding and managing, both Hard and Soft FM within both the Public and Private sector. Moving from an engineering background into the services sector in 1981 Paul became involved in the management of a number of Healthcare FM contracts for RCO Support Services Ltd.

In this role Paul was appointed Director of RCO Group in 1989 and thereafter during the 1990’s became involved in the bidding of Hard and Soft FM services in the first wave of PFI’s, with RCO being an equity shareholder in Catalyst Healthcare. This gave Paul experience of managing the planning, start up and mobilisation phases of such projects.

In October 2000 RCO Support Services was acquired by ISS UK. Paul was appointed Managing Director of ISS Servisystem North Limited, ISS Servisystem Midlands Limited and ISS Washroom and Workwear Limited.

During the next four years Paul lead the consolidation and restructuring of ISS Servisystem North and Midlands along with the ISS Servisystem Southern operating company into one division of ISS UK - ISS Facility Services – Regions Division. This was coupled with the acquisition and integration of five regional FM companies into the business.

Paul joined HCP in January 2005 as General Manager for the £320m Central Nottinghamshire Hospitals plc PFI Project which encompasses the Kings Mill Hospital, Newark Hospital, and Mansfield Community Hospital to oversee the Advanced Works Agreement, design development, contractual negotiations and the establishment of the SPV.

Paul is currently responsible for HCP’s Midlands operational SPV’s and Director of Technical Services.
