This project was the first successfully to implement Retention of Employment transfers for some 700 Soft FM staff in April 2003. The project has tackled many of the challenges of large hospital building such as a new build in the heart of a busy acute hospital, refurbishment of older NHS stock, phased development and implementing interim FM services under a demanding performance management regime. The scheme is also one of the first to implement new ways of providing integrated Soft FM services from a zonal hub arrangement and to introduce a new “Steamplicity” food service for patients which delivers a wider range of fresh a la carte meal choices than is possible in more traditional meal delivery services. The hospital was successfully completed in 2008 and continues to operate under HCPs SPV. |
