HCP was awarded the management contract to carry out the rebuild of ten primary schools throughout Leeds. The project aimed to renew facilities, remove split site primaries, add integrated childcare and provide enhanced community spaces.
In addition to this a number of core features were included in all schools, with environmental and energy concerns at the forefront. This meant the incorporation of grey water recycling, solar panels, wind turbines, low energy lights and the use of sustainable materials where possible. Providing an overall sustainable design solution for each school.
