HCP provides full management services to Affinity Housing (Reading) Ltd, the Special Purpose Company (SPC), set up to deliver £30m of investment in improving and maintaining council homes over a 30 year PFI contract. The venture is a partnership between Southern Housing Group, Windsor Housing, Nationwide Building Society and Wates.
As part of the contract each of the homes have been brought up to the ‘Decent Homes’ standard and a day to day maintenance and repair services is provided to residents. The refurbishment was undertaken in the first four years of the contract. Affinity will also maintain the properties and provide housing services to tenants for the length of the contract.
