Mobilisation and Commissioning

Mobilisation and Commissioning is the process by which a building is transformed from steel and concrete into a ‘living and breathing‘ facility. There are many components that can be grouped under the ‘Mobilisation and Commissioning’ banner and HCP can offer guidance and support through this process.

HCP can lead the development of Joint Commissioning programmes (which are often  contractual documents) and has proven success in engaging all PFI partners in the process.

We can assist in planning the move/transition into the new facility. As joined up plans are essential and need to be developed collaboratively so this aspect of the project is smoothly executed.

Construction liaison is another skill that can be provided during commissioning periods. This can involve progress monitoring, conflict resolution, witnessing installation & commissioning of plant. This can lead to better assessment of preparedness for handover & better risk management and crisis avoidance through early identification of issues.
